Donahue Basin

Over the weekend the family and I made a small camp in a spot I found several years ago. It's a little secluded hole with beautiful meadows and plenty of peace and quite. Nothing exciting happened on this camp just a lot of relaxation. We found some wild onions growing in the basin and enjoyed snacking on those.

This guy loves being in the mountains.
No I'm not doing a war dance.

 Washing some clothes.

 Le Canadian
About six or seven years ago, long before I had met my wife, I came up to Donahue and did some shooting. I lost my powder measure and every time I've been back I've stopped and looked for it with no success. So to keep up the tradition I showed my wife where I had been shooting and she walked over looked down and said, "Here it is." Seven years of looking!!! That woman sure does complete me.
The boy sporting his new wolf eared cap I made in camp.
All mountaineers, big or little, need a nap.

See you down the trail.
